I am not sure what country you are in but in my area (British Columbia, Canada) there are many. When you go to a restaurant ask if they have a gluten free menu. Gluten free dining is not impossible and can lead you to find delicious meals that you would never normally order.
I have been to restaurants where the chef will come out to speak with you and prepare any meal gluten free.
All you have to do is ask.
