You prob screwed it up b/c you ran it outside of water. It's only supposed to be run while in the water. At any rate, it sounds like a carburator problem. Needs to have the gunk cleaned out of it.

u can run a ski out of water when your working on it plus water just cools the engine, when your running it out of water ur only running it for a minute or two so the engine doesnt get hot i have done everything i can think of including cleaning the carborator i just needed a little help because im stuck now

u can run a jet ski out of water for a minute or two plus iv already rebuilt the carborator p.s. water just cools the engine if i run it out of water for a minute or two it does not hurt it thats how u troubleshoot your jet ski when your working on it u cant work on it in water im just looking for a little help because iv done everything possible i can think of
