Who was Jessop from the bible?
Was he the father of Joseph or King Herod or Jacob? I've been given many options. I'd like to really know who the first one recorded with that name was in the bible. I'd also love to hear if anyone can find it being recorded as a name outside of the bible with a different interpretation of the names meaning and some different information on it's progression through to other languages and countries.

I can find no reference of the name Jessop in the bible.
