Talk to your parents first.  You are 16 and he is 21.

Show him you love him by loving yourself and respecting yourself.  Show him you love him by NOT having sex with him. That could be statutory rape where you live and that would NOT be good for him.  
Have fun together. Be interested in what he says and does.  Laugh, kiss, hug, hold hands, pay attention to him and don't try to make him jealous.  Take time for your other friends and don't be controlling or needy.  TRUST him.  
Actually, you should not need to try to show someone you love him.  It should just show.

If you have sex with him, he will be arrested for having sex with a minor. Sex is not the way to show someone you love them if you are even considering the idea.  

He will know you love him. It will show in the way you treat him and act around him.

You change and mature hugely between 16 and 20`s(NOT belittling you..we all do!...He may well be flattered ..but please wait or hang out with guys more your own age,,just be you...you have nothing to prove to anyone....please don`t rush into anything that you are bound to regret when you are a bit older...i was in a similar situation when i was 15/16..i`m so glad i didn`t  succumb to his charms!!...Wait for someone...however long it takes who honestly recipricates your feelings...worth the wait..Don`t lose your self worth!
