    what is the purpose of a book signing ?

    It's a chance to go and meet the author, and get your book signed by them. 

    It adds a value to a book , in the early 1900's it was of great value to have the author and the bookbinders signature in the front of the book.


     


    I love old books when the end pages have writing in the front :)
