Only for the bigots. There's a lot of black mixed into my white family. We all get along as a family should. No problems here.

Maybe 30 years ago in parts of the USA and else where , but from what I understand all man/women were created equal..

Nothing wrong with it in my thinking. But don't kid yourself and think that all people are accepting of an interracial marriage. Your children will have to deal with it as well. I grew up in the city and a few kids in school were the product of a black and white relationship. They were forced to basically take sides. "You black or white"? Either way they were alienated by the other race. Most people here are accepting of this union. In a perfect world you would never have to ask this question. The worlds not perfect is it?

I'm not aware of it being illegal somewhere, so there shouldn't BE any problem. Most people are accepting, or at least tolerant, of mixed race unions.  There are probably parts of the world where people could be hateful, ostracizing, and prejudiced. Hopefully, if this question is about yourself, you are in a place where people have put the issue of skin color to bed. 

Can't see any problem with that myself, If you love each other the colour of your skin or religion or anything else should make no difference. Good luck have a good life.

i married a black man.36 years ago. we had our ups and downs. there were times we couldnt get served at a restaurant, ignored for service, like at a filling station. i been called n****r lover more than once. iour kids seemed to do well. they have been teased and harrased. all thats done now. we hardly hear any thing. so yeah, you can do it. i hope you have a long and beautiful life with your chosen one!!

Only problem I see is that weddings are expensive buddy so be prepared...have you seen the price of a wedding dress lately? Caterers? Tuxedos? Your poor wallet will suffer the most!!!

happens all the time. But , marriage is hard enough without adding a huge amount of stress to it.

How about a huge amount of love? My sister married a black man and the had 3 children. She never spoke of any negative comments are problems and they lived all through the southern states. This was 20 years ago too. I think times have changed more than people know.

Very interesting! In the black community, it's apparently much more acceptable than a black woman marrying a white man. Maybe a person of color can explain this.

My white niece says she wants to marry her black boyfriend.  Well i got his name , did a background check. Bad credit history, aggravated assault on female. theft. She is still in love though and wont change her mind. So i dont feel a damn bit sorry for the problems she is about to have in her life.  Doesnt matter black or white. Find out the history before you commit yourself .
