Do you know anybody like that ; or have  you had someone in your family with that prob ? No, I do not have a foot fetish .

Genetics.  Some people are born with overactive sweat glands in their feet....My housemate for one but, not extreme. My ex-husband wasn't allowed inside the home unless he left his shoes and socks outside......

LOL My dad had that prob, when I was growing up . I don't know why. But, my mom used to say that it stopped after he retired.
Your answer makes sense, Jh. Thanks for shedding some light on that.

I am not a big fan of feet... I don't like mine touched.  It is a very large free-freak-me-out and so my pedicures are always done by me, myself and I.

I also insist that clean feet only live in my space.  I am fortunate that everyone has always taken this seriously.

    Actually, everything should be clean.

Oh ... dang!  MCM!  Now, look what you have done... I need to sterilize my environment all over again!!!!!!!!! :D  augh!

(Smile.) I haven't heard anyone say " augh " since my grandma was still alive! -- and that was many years ago. She was from Germany . And she used to say " Augh,De liber si " which means, " Oh, my dear! " I don't know how to spell it in German

Oh, that is where I get that from ... I had a very cute German Mother in Law for 21 years... she also used to say, "I hate that!". It still makes me smile to think about it... My cute German Father in Law used to say, "You hate everything!". They really were funny.

t was told its an allergy to colored socks. always wear white cotton socks.

maybe that's why David Letterman always wears white socks with a suit

The number of glands dictates how much a person perspires, even in their feet.  The amount of perspiration varies from person to person and race to race.  Even within the same continent, Indians and southeast Asians perspire more than Japanese and especially Korean.

This is a very good question as in Hawaii and most Asian countries people take off their shoes to enter a person's home.  Hence, there's no where to hide.

Having said that, I feel that a person who takes care of his feet is more inclined to take care of other parts of his body.  Since I am unwilling to buy expensive foot cream, I, without exception, put on talcum powder after each shower.  Powder keeps your feet dry and absorbs a lot of the unwanted odor.

This is genetic, if you need any cure can take traditional Chinese medicine
