      They should all be the "ST ANDREWS FLAG" after all, it is the home of golf!

        I'm thinkin' it may have something to do with that American uprising of the "South" some many years ago and the use of the Union Jack there and given the vast number of Americans watching those networks?  I'm sure they don't wish to offend anyone by dredging up past historical events...maybe.  :)
