Even if we could find some similarity between the two, are you saying that mankind should not have grown any smarter in over 2000 years time? Are you saying that it's OK today if we do something stupid just because someone did it in the bible? Can you please bring us the verse you are trying to link the David Cameron story to? I personally do not want to read the bible.

What are you refering to? The only story is, that he left his 8 yr. old daughter behind in a  pub. It was just an oversight. The Media is making a big deal out of it.

Hmmm....I have several different Bibles and none of them mention Joseph leaving Jesus in a Pub.  Not sure what your meaning here.

I thought it was Jesus who took off to impress  the elders in the temple with his amazing knowlege of religion leaving His parents distraught, rather than the parents forgetting Him.
