Cover the boat dock and close it in. That's about it. You have your boat dock out there in mother nature where the birds live. Are you this against sharing the world with animals? God did not give this world to only man. Remember, he created the animals first. He placed man in their territory. Can't you get along with some birds? Run a hose to the dock to keep it clean. I hope you don't have any trees that you want the birds to stay out of too. I don't think they read, no trespassing signs.

The ones that hang around our jetty are so tame thay have no fear of us at all.Especially if we are eating chips out there. They will almost take them out of your hand.
One of my neighbors put small flags on the posts of the docks. They move in the wind and he has not had a problem since.. We have a great congregation of male mallard ducks, 15 males who were recently joined by three females who probably lost theire offspring. Right now, they are all sleeping on my dock.I have to clean the mess every day. I dont mind. They even walk around my Garden and eat bird and squirrel food, that drops on the ground.. I also have two different mother ducks coming every day with theire offspring. One has 4 ducklings and the other one only two.
