I agree with you Dardaigh, dog shows are different, never been to one, seen them on Tv, The money spent on Poodle Pageants, saw it on TV, could be put to better use, like helping the homeless, or animal charitys.

Well, they have the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in N.A. annually, Dolly and I try to never miss it. I don't own a dog but I really do love watching all the beautiful, different breeds competing.

I've never seen just a Poodle Pageant. I just googled it and it seems some people deem it animal cruelty/abuse. I don't really agree with dressing dogs up in clothes, as the poor things have no say in whether they want to participate. It's sort of like the circus. Using animals for human entertainment.
