Do you mean Howdy Doody?  

The American Howdy Doody show ended September 24, 1960.

The Canadian Howdy Doody Show ended on June 26, 1959.

Howdy Doody died years ago and his body was cut up by Buffalo Bob for firewood. :)

Trivia: Clarabelle the clown was actually Bob Keeshan whom later became "Capitan Kangaroo'.  Legend has it that he and Lee Marvin fought together at Iwo Jima, Bob Keeshan did enlist in the marines but saw no action because he enlisted too late. Lee Marvin did fight at Iwo Jima though and his body is at Arlington Cemetary. (he passed away in the 80's)  Why buried there i don't know because he did nothing outstanding to be privileged with such honor. He was just one of thousands of dedicated soldiers that fought there, if he is buried there, why not the others?  I do respect his service though, as i do all soldiers in conflicts.
