    my electric company gave me a print out of my billing history at my previous address.it shows the balance i owed in the amount of 324 as a automatic write off and the final balance zero, they are telling me i have to pay the amount they wrote off,even though the transaction history report does not reflect me owing that amount do i have to pay them

     A write off  on a bad debt  is declared noncollectable (such as a loan on a defunct business or a credit card due that is now in default), removing it from their balance sheets. But if you want to use their service again you will have to pay off what you owed them before.
