At present, MAC's don't need anti-virus programs. This may change as time goes on.

I  have a mac book pro and it is the best machine I have ever owned. Apple has great support when you need it, in the last four years maybe 5 times briefly. My internet is via airport to a cable which is very fast. Video streaming is on and rarely is there a pause. There are many free applications that work like a charm and if you are into programming running Linux and firewall access is a breeze. Linux and OSX runs very nicely together. I also run Gimp for mac, Firefox and NeoOffice. So your backdoors work great and no viruses or other MS novelty hiccups unless you are into self torture. Have fun.
