You don't suppress them. You acknowledge them, face them, work through them and make them less important. Take the power from them so they do not haunt you for the rest of your life. Seek professional help if that's what you need. If you shove a mess under a carpet, you spend your days tripping over the lump in the carpet. The only way to stop tripping is to remove the mess and dispose of it. You have to do the same with the memories you do not like.

Don't know. Apparently I've never suppressed anything. I've suddenly remembered some stuff but, that's how the memory works. Try hypnosis.........or have your friend try it.......
