Call the radio station or buy your own. 

My dad used to give news bulletins on the radio. He'd go into his home office and lock the door. He'd clear his throat many times. I could tell when the microphone got turned on because my dad started tapping his foot. TAP TAP TAP. That was what he did when his nervous tension got high. Unfortunately his tapping could be heard by his audience. I believe my mom got him some padded socks. (Or something)

My advice: Wear padded socks and drink plenty of water to disolve the frog in your throat. 

Just telephone (I know...it sounds archaic but this will work I tell you)...okay just call the station and make your request...they will help you.Peace.
