I have my Great Grandfathers picture in his uniform AND his records of service to the UNION

I find it hard to believe he's only your great grandfather.  He was born over 170 years ago and you're only his great grandson.  My mother is 85 and she has great grandchildren already.  Nonetheless, you must be proud of him, Michael.
