    the reason I'm asking is there is a con going on. they rang up and told me I had lots of viruses they took over my computer to show me and then asked me for money for a windows virus cover. be aware they are of Indian decent and it is a big con,but I worry that they can take over ones computer so easerly.

      They took control but if you go in to security on your pc and  stop the remote desk top that would help

        Windows is a company that sells products. unlike the fire/recue sevice who do conduct a sevice verry well windows doe's have good free software but yours is a scam I think
