We were given a Balboa 2000LE M-7 portable spa. I installed a 50A main breaker in my house panel, and a 50A disconnect breaker. When the tub is started, the jets work fine but when the blower is turned on, the 50A disconnect breaker trips. We did not get any product literature from the previous owner, so I assumed we needed a 50A breaker for this spa. Does the tripping mean I need to upsize to a 60A breaker, or might there be a power capacity issue at my main panel? Any help would be appreciated

you should have a gfci breaker

chec the fully load amps on the fan and add itr to full load on the pumps see how much than you could a breaker that will work

    YOU MUST HAVE A GFCI

I'm no electrician but I'm guessing the wiring may not be enough to handle the 50A. Up grade the wiring.
