In the ocean off of Hunting Island, SC, I felt "attacked" by a small creature -about 6 inches, that jumped out and bumped my face, then bounced off of the surface of the water several times and onto my face. It felt like the texture of jellyfish - soft, and appeared from close up like a small ball jumping at me.
