Isn't it sad that from the taxpayers, is generally the case. ;(

Obama is touting that HE saved GM, when it was the taxpayers who saved GM.

We never seem to learn from history. Reagan saved Chrysler by simply guaranteeing Chrysler' LOANS, from the five Banks and the UAW pension fund, rather than GIVING Chrysler taxpayers money.

Obama ended up with GM OWING the taxpayers BILLIONS and taking the stockholders share of GM and giving it to the UAW.

We actually earned a profit on the PREFERRED Stock, given to the Federal Treasury for that Federal Guaranty, when Chrysler bought the stock back from the Treasury at their greater value

That shows the difference between the way Republicans and Democrats run our government.
