Sorry, TVvie and/or akaQA are not listed under programs. They are useless to me and I want to get rid of them and return to my normal startup. Any ideas?

In order to uninstall a program press the 'Start' button, then open the 'Control Panel' and double click the option 'Programs and Properties', then search for the program you wish to uninstall on the programs list, double click it and choose 'Uninstall'.

Wrong, TV vie is an extension and will not appear in programs. Getting rid of it is simplicity itself. Simply go to tools drop down to extensions and place the TV-vie in the dustbin. You can dump any other crap extensions while you are there.
They added TV vie after they asked how to uninstall a program. I never saw the edit. I only had the title of the question to go by at the time, not the small print. Instead of telling a member, "wrong", just add your answer as a new answer.
