19 items were sold for the price y -- > 19y money units.
8 items were sold for 5 money units less then the original price -- > 8 X (y - 5) -- > = 8y – 40 money units.
The total sales sum was 475 money units. It equals to the sum of the sales of the two different prices:
475 = 19y + 8y – 40
515 = 27y
Y (the original price) approximately equals to 19.074 money units.
