I am a Buddhist.  Freedom of the journey.  That is not to say I don't have any respect because I do but I am not a fan of walls.

    @ UMBRIEL
You don't understand the path of the Buddhist.
The Book of Mormon is not a 'fit' for me nor do I adhere myself to the original concept and how it came about. I have studied it and it is not my place as a mortal on this particular coil to judge.
I do know what is very wrong as vibrations are pure and clear. Your vibrations are very clear to me.
You and I are on opposite ends of the spectrum.
    Let it go.

Sorry Doo. But you are the unique singular Doo! You are most certainly NOT doo-doo! :)

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!   H-E DOUBLE TOOTHPICKS NO!

We are friends but I don’t join groups that believe in exclusive access to God or Heaven in limiting ways along with ranking and status of members. To me, we are here, in a nursery, not a proving ground...

    proving ground
    noun
an environment that serves to demonstrate whether something, such as a theory or product, really works: Bay County is the proving ground for a new gutter-cleaning vacuum.
    • a military facility for the testing of materiel and equipment: Aberdeen Proving Ground.

    No, not me either.

Sorry wouldn't be caught dead going their, NO.

""Not on yer Nellie. Do I look the type?

    No, not in million years.

Umbriel, I'll certainly agree with you on the issue about money.

No, I'm not. My sons were cub scouts in a troop that was sponsored by the LDS church in our hometown.  I appreciated the family orientation, but there are too many aspects of the actual faith that are contrary to my own.

No and I have never met one.

    Lucky! :)

No, but I had neighbors many years ago that were, I didn't ask about their religion, nor did they mine, they were kind and considerate for which I was grateful, I don't judge others nor do I like to be judged by others, religion is a personal belief, I choose not to participate in formal religion, nor do I attend church or have any intention of doing so, my belief is what's in a persons actions and whats in their heart

    Me????? ""

As far as I go, I feel like it's none of you business...........

Julie... my program is glitched. I am having a heck of a time logging in and the TUs are not working. Congratulations on your 500K.
I will be back (I think) when this mess is sorted out. KC

Why endorse any religion when you can be a good decent,God fearing atheist like me.

Not my cuppa tea I'm afraid. When did they give up the polygamy thing? Or did they?

LDS members are supposed to believe in a  flesh and blood God who lives on a planet called Kolob which has never been seen by astronomers.

No but I know someone who was brainwashed by Scientology and gave away her salary for regular meals of rice and chickpeas!... I'm so glad that Katie Holmes got cruises daughter out just before she was to start Scientology school!!! That IMHO is one kids life saved!!!
    nomdeplume

Scientology and Mormonism are two different faiths. Why people feel the need for religion is something I do not understand as I do not follow any religion. I have to admit however that a world without religion would be much less interesting and this site much more dull.

    No.
