    my newborn grandchild has vomited blood why is this?

    she is 2 days old and her babygrow had quite a bit of blood on more than just the mucus newborns usually bring up

      Baby vomiting blood is not a good thing and best be off to the hospital now..sooner than later...go! and keep us posted if you can...blessings and Peace.

        I just wanted to say here ... I suggested 911 because I didn't know the circumstances. Where was the Grandma's head? Was she able to drive? Were they far far away from a hospital? Stuff like that.
        I'm surprised this question leiosgran didn't get 50 comments. Everyone was asleep?

        You need to take her to the hopital right away. We are not qualified to tell you what it could be.
