what are the signs that my cars control module has gone bad?

in my 1999 olds cutlass 3.1 liter my alternator and battery are not working properly, the connection between the is being interrupted.  i've changed my battery and alternator, including fuses and wires for both of them. My battery is still not gettin a proper charge from the alternator. could this be a control module problem?

no definitely it is not . you need to make sure you have 12 volts going to the back of the alt. by using a volt meter and not just a test light. if you don't have 12v, then you have to check the fusible links where the battere cable off the back of   the alt gets its' power from. the second power source comes from a 20 amp fuse located in the fuse box inside the car. that's all the alt needs in irder to wake up a start charging . make sure with key on you have bat. voltage going to the alt connector. good luck and if it still does not work, tell me what you have as voltage wise and if the car runs for a while with a healthy battery and it just does not want to charge.
