    What does synergestic (not sure of spelling) mean in the medical field, like the effect of a medication?

    when a person takes a medication and it has a reaction like a "synergestic effect"

    Synergistic effect for drugs or medication means that consumption of two drugs/medications leads to the two of them acting together, so that the total effect is greater then the sum of the effects when each drug is taken independently.
