I'd think that many of You guys are singles, but are You lonesome tonight like myself?

I did think and this hand is out of proportion. In order for the finger to be drawn this way the view of the face would have to be almost face on.
Thinking done. Lessoned learned... glad all the money I spent on attending art school has paid off.

Is your picture a drawing of  a person picking their nose? If it is, I can understand why your lonesome if that is what you believe is a cool picture to apply to yourself.  No, I'm not lonesome. I'm never lonely and I am single but by choice. Single is so much easier.

    lindilou

You can say that again!!! :)
    carmaxable

    heck yea!!!!!
    mycatsmom

I don't want to get married again, but yes, I do know what real loneliness is, b/c , for one thing , I don't have ANY family in my state; and not much in other states.

It's involved Don. Relationships for homosexuals are hard because straight "normal" people like to climb into bed with us and tell us how wrong we are being. That's part of it. Another is I'm just too independent. I like living by my schedule and doing what I want when I want. Then there's the drama that always comes with a relationship.....nah, not for me. I've had my relationships, raised my kids. Been there, done that. I'm good :)

    Not single and not lonely.

Why is the finger up the nose?

    doolittle

I agree..who would pick an avatar like that???? I know, it's coming to me, someone lonely and bored!
    dad59

Are you sure that's UP THE NOSE???lol
    carmaxable

    booger finger
    FISH-O

I think it's up the nose so far it's a drainium on the cranium.
    FISH-O

The angle of the drawing is wrong for the finger to be bent and disapear from view. Try it ... you will find this to be true. Also the thumb is out of proportion.
I am just a professional artist. What would I know about this type of thing?
    Bob/PKB

I see what you are saying about the angle of the thumb. I can't do that with my thumb. Judging, though, from the comments jekke has made and the feeling I get (s)he is ESL, I don't think the drawing was meant to be finger in nose..."THINK" doesn't jive with nose-picking. But, I do see your point.
    Bob/PKB

You are blessed with talent and drive! Small projects would suit me; my artistic ability is limited, but it's always a good feeling to be doing something.
My healing nears completion on the emotional side. When my spiritual is better, I will be unstoppable
    Love ya, Fishlet :D

Why do you think we're singles?

    jekke

I thought that questions in this site has kind of altruistic answers.

How in the world can anyone be lonely when there are so many animals to talk with????

    FISH-O

    Beats me!?!
    jekke

I have two very selfish cats to conversate with, but only a "pettalk".
    doolittle

Well then, I need to teach you Cat and you will never be lonely- cats love to tell their people what they did when you were away...Why mine even wakes me up to remind me that it is the middle of the night!

Not single and not lonely. But, I do enjoy this site and the people on it.

I'm not single but even if I was I would be too bloody busy to be lonely.

im never lonely, but i do live alone. i enjoy my peace and quiet. ive raised my five kids, put up with an alcoholic hubby till he passed on, got grand kids. i deserve my solitude!!! and loving it.

    Boy did you think WRONG!!!

    jekke

    No dad, not at all.

I took the time to look at your profile and see that your avatar is NOT someone picking his nose. I am one of the few single people on this site, as far as I can tell.
I have a dog and a cat who keep me from being alone.  Sometimes I am lonely, but I am OK with it most of the time.  Last night I had dinner with my cousin, and we did a little shopping. We had a good time visiting with each other.  Generally, I wouldn't have made the trip to her store to see her and her co-worker, but I've been reading a book jhharlan recommended and wanted to share it with both of them.  Will be stopping by to see them more often.  Lonely is as lonely does.  I am going to do "lonely" less often.

    mycatsmom

PKB, what book was it ?
    jekke

I do LOVE to find YOU understanding people who´s rather loner but not a looser.
    Thank You!
    jekke

My two cats, Mathilda and Mathias send greetings as well.
    Bob/PKB

There is often more than meets the eye. I hope you enjoy this site. It's addictive, though. :D
    jekke

When I see something lovely, I look at it and forget to think anything, and just enjoy the moment, be addicted.
    FISH-O

A side view of the hand with the joint bent that way, as if the finger is not going up the nose is completely wrong as is the angle of the thumb (also out of proportion). A thumb does not bend like that nor is placed on the hand quite like that.
Bend your finger and study the angle you view when the finger looks like that... it is almost face on. :)
    FISH-O

'Think' to an artist means critique. The angle of the drawing is all wrong as well as is the joint of the thumb.
I am sorry that any one is lonely. I have been single. I looked at my time alone
as time to heal, grow and really know myself. It gave me hours to make art and renovate a condo. I imagine it is different for me as I am project oriented... I have had a few friends point this out to me just last week... they couldn't handle being as busy as me and I couldn't handle not having projects.
I just had a great firing. I am looking at goblets, coffee mugs and salt pigs right now... Back to work. Have a lovely day Bobette. (And take great care of yourself) :)

     jekke!!! Are altruistic answers uncommon to those involved in relationships of a sexual nature? If so then I'm extremely happy to fly solo! ?   {My response after reading your response to ROMOS KOTF!!!}

    jekke

Oh boy! Your knowledge in English seems to be a Hyperiotic in human manner of naturality. Very interesting.

I like that song by Elvis.........." Are you lonesome tonight ........' '

    Bob/PKB

"Surviving the Loss of a Love" by Bloomfield. It is just what I have needed for nearly a year. I recommend it highly. Short chapters accompanied by poetry from Peter McWilliams, whom I discovered in the 1970s. What a treat to see his work 40 years later. :D
    jekke

"That´s allright mama". You get the point.
