I am a member of IBEW 357. I have a question about retirement benefits.
When filling out the paperwork for retirement, I know a form saying that I needed to choose if I wanted my wife to be able to continue receiving Plan A benefits following my death and alluded to the idea that my benefits would be reduced to allow for this. I would like to know what rate is being payed per credit and how much it would be reduced if I chose to have my wife receive benefits after my death.
