Colleen what is a rebar? I am an old cabinet maker come wood machinist and I have never heard of rebar. We call the type of saw a "drop" or " chop"depending on how you feel.
Rebar is long rods of steel with like grip girds (I guess you would call them) on it. Primarily used as the ties/cross members to help support cement in foundations. I hope I explained that well. Not enough coffee today, lol

Thanks to you all for your answers. Makes sense rebar= reinforcing bar. In the Great South land we call the same product "reeo" reinforcing rod. Normaly spelt reo but I put the extra "e" for pronunciation. You blokes and sheilas in the US will call it 'rayO" any way. Only used blokes and sheilas in nice way.
