    What are two causes of the Great Depression?

    The great stock market crash of '29 (?) started it...........

    Excessive credit, extreme curtailment of consumer demand for goods and services, real estate and stock bubbles burst, to be followed by tight money supply.  Many companies and families defaulted on their loans.  Banks stopped lending money.  Sh*t hit the fan.

    1) too much government spending. 2)lack of confidence in the banks

    All these answers sound way to familiar the last few years...............................
