      I'm not sure I completely understand this...but If this woman lied and the man ended up in jail- and this woman has told others she lied then My hope would be that the people she told will come forward and tell the authorities.

        Can you prove she lied? Has she admitted it? If I were you, I'd gather all the pertinent information and give it to the authorities and a good lawyer..........

            As the others have said, if you can prove someone lied, it is possible the case can be overturned.  You are going to have to get the attorney to pursue this avenue.   There is hope, but there must be action.
