what does it mean when someone takes a picture of the back of my car?

Mistaken identity? Are you safe now? If they followed you ,you might want to contact the cops.What Country? Be safe ,maybe stalking your wheels as that's a hot little car,a nice ride...is it locked up?

Depends on the car...the circumstances and who the photographer is.If it's a collector car then perhaps they like the art of the car...if you were barreling through a stop sign and it's a concerned citizen then the reason is obvious...also if it's a cop at a speed trap...again for proof of an infraction...an insurance company?...a collection agency??...a stalker? I suppose your guess is as good as mine.Peace.

ok i was in the walmart parking lot and someone took a pic of the back of my lic.plate and then took off and was no where is site and then another car drove by looking my car down and just keeped stairing at me. I drive a 1998 Nissan 300Z.

The back of the car generally shows the make and model, the license plate, and that is a lot of information that can be used for any number of legal (or sinister) purposes.
