Close off the jets fully with the jet screws count the number of turns until they lock solid write down the numbers on paper then you can take out the scews completely and strip the carb .Clean out all the gunge with carb cleaner or brake fluid squirt some wd40 or light oil on the parts rebuild the carb insert the jet screws lock them up the relase them the no of turns you wrote down
