      Tinnitus is a common problem, a doctor advised me to leave the radio on in between stations at night to help, I found it was worse, but leaving very soft music on helped a bit at night

        I have had it for years.  I also have bouts with Vertigo... the ringing is the lesser of the two evils.

            Answer the "PHONE !!. Sounds like Tinnitus Sorry no cure My Mum and Sister both had it for years.They ignore it.You can .people talking  sound of the tide rushing in whistling sounds .try head phones playing "Music.
