      I love reading fictional books however there is only so much time in a day and I have subjects that are close to my heart.  It is a lot of non-fiction these days and it has been like this for the past ten years.  There are just so many things I want to know and so many things I want to know how to do.

                I will switch back and forth. I'll read fiction for a month or two, then head to the dewey decimal section for true crime stories, history, etc.

                      Both, it depends on my mood. If I want to relax and forget the world I read fiction for brain candy.  If I'm in the mood for intellectual stimulation then it's non fiction.

                        I enjoy friction, it kinda makes me spark as well as my spouse...she likes those  romance novels which i believe are non friction..

                          If your wife likes romance tell her to try and lay her hands on a copy of A Rose In Winter by Kathleen Woodiwiss. I have re-read that book so many times.

                          Dardaigh- I've read that book by Woodiwiss and most of her others except for the recent ones. My favorite was her first one, but for the life of me I can't think of the title. It was about an American sea captain that was in England on a trading mission and was forced to marry a british girl. I'm one of those rare males that likes romance novels.
