    Could be the heating element is bad. I would start there.

    Gas dryers have a glo-cell for ignition.  If the hardware does not recognize that a heat source for ignition it will not allow the gas through the valve.  If you have flame and no drying or long time to dry, then possible the vent is plugged or partially plugged then you need to clean the entire vent system.

    i need a picture of where this  heat element is.
