My view is that the Snake was badly treated. God told Eve that if she ate fruit from the Tree of Knowledge she would die. The Snake said this was not true so she and Adam ate but did not die. So God lied and the Snake told the truth. So what do you think? Was God's punishment just and moral when the Snake simply said that eating the fruit would open their their eyes which was exactly what happened?
