    how do you clean painted leather art

    A good friend just passed and I received a beautiful framed piece of leather art. It is painted but the whites are yellowed from cigarette smoke. I would love to clean it and bring it back to its glory. But do not want to damage it.

      You could try the white inside of soft doughy bread.


      Form into a ball and rub very gently, when bread becomes dirty replace and repeat.


      It takes time but if the painting is worth it then so is the work.
