I have a couple of dogs. One is a purebred and the other a mix. They are both great dogs.

I had a Golden Retriever for 16 and a half years!The best dog ever!

We have a dog !  He is a mixed breed hound!  I don't think there is a best breed dog! All dogs want to be your best friend if you treat them right!  DOGS RULE!

Protection......

Companionship.

I have two dog, neither is worth killing so, I guess I'll just love them for what they are...........

A Minature Dachshund is a loyal, affectionate, lovavable, it's disadvantage, not very good with little kids.

Depends on the size of dog you want. I personally will get another dog from the shelter, since my dachshund passed away. They are just as smart and lovable as a pure bred dog. They are behind bars through no fault of theire own . Just think how good that will make you feel, to save a dog from beeing put to death. They deserve to live too..

For its intellegence,the border collie is unbeatable,incredibly smart dogs.That said,ive got a GSD,hes a beautiful dog,wouldnt swap him for the world but this past few weeks hes become very overprotective and i dont know why.

Thanks Lindi,i will look at that in a bit.its not just strangers hes being off it with.A couple of people hes been funny with hes known since he was a puppy,both times when theyve put a hand out towards me,certainly not in a threatening manner(I could understand it if they had been)
