I've knocked your karma down so you can not keep giving thumbs down on correct answers or on any answers at all. The next time you do what you did, you will be removed from this forum.

    Stuffed, eh?
Lucky you. We're not going to be eating for another couple of hours,Ann.
I'd better go get a snack.
    Ann

Dont eat too much, like I did. I need a nap.

The Armenian meats are SOOOOO good. My mom thinks they belong at every holiday and she isn't Armenian at all.
If you have a middle Eastern deli somewhere, you could possibly find some of this stuff. If not, I'll bring it to the aka party bulletman is sponsoring :D
    Ann

thanks bob for your information. The closest to a middle eastern deli, would be Boston, Mass.I bet you could even get it through the internet. I order special food from Germany sometimes. I hope you had a nice easter.
What is the party, bulletman is sponsoring? I guess I missed that.

    We usually eat...too much.

I will often make Victoria Sponge Cake or one of those 10lb Carrot Cakes with Philly icing, lots of roast spuds and you have to have brussel sprouts with the turkey, lol.

    Dardaigh

So when someone gets 'potted', we can blame the sprouts, Umbriel? Too funny! I do agree that they should be gently steamed but I am not partial to sauces, as they cover the true taste of the viand. Okay, perhaps a dab of butter but that's as far as I will go to adulterate the true flavour of my sprout! ;)

The finance charges , wow best just pay for it up front

Food, from all the food groups.  Something special that our family has is Armenian meats (soujik and basturma), turshig (pickled carrots, celery, cabbage), Armenian string cheese, paklava or kadayif, and cheese bourags.   These are appetizers, the paklava/kadayif dessert.

    Ann

    This sounds delicious!

    Ask me in December!

    lindilou

    Of course!!!
