      Adding fractions:  5/8 + 1/10


      Note:  Make sure the denominators are the same. Find the LCD of 8 and 10.


      5/8 x 5/5 = 25/40


      1/10 x 4/4 = 4/40


      Now, add the fractions.


      25/40 + 4/40 = 29/40


      Answer:  29/40
