The phones available with MetroPCS service were specifically chosen because of their optimal performance on the MetroPCS network. However, there are certain phones from other carriers that will work on our system and allow you to talk and text. These phones will need to go through the MetroFLASH process and will be charged a fee. To find out more about phones that are compatible please see: www.metropcs.com/metroflash
