you have to remove a plug on the side of the block not to far from the front of the balance shaft gear . just install a special bolt that threads into the bolck through the balance shaft. if you do not have this bolt then you can try a center punch long enough that reaches about 4 to5 inches into the block. the engine will vibrate a lot at idle if you do not get this right.good luck
