    Here I would expect absolute waterfront, nothing but water, I sold a house across the street from the water and could only use water views as a selling point

    Land, land with buildings, or a section of a town fronting or abutting on a body of water.

    Land and building at the edge of a body of water( Lake, Ocean)

    Ahh..this is a tricky question depending on where you live...it's a bit like "water view" property. Romos is correct..saome portion of the property must lay next to water...however, if it is a tidal waterway...you might only have a foot in hightide.

    The house I live in is on the lake's shore. The rental behind me is a lake view which actually has a better view of the whole lake.
