-3 x -3 = 9
9 x -3 = -27
-27 x -3 = 81
-11 x -11 = 121
81 + 121 = 202

I got a bit confuse. Is the problem saying?
-(3)^4 + (-11)^2
-81 + 121 = 40
Or,
(-3)^4 + (-11)^2
81 + 121 = 202
-(3)^4 + (-11)^2
-81 + 121 = 40

(-3)^4 + (-11)^2
81 + 121 = 202
Yes. The only thing in your first equation that is incorrect is the -3/4th power. Negative x negative = positive x negative = negative x negative = positive. You got it right on the second example.
My first equation was written wrong. I should have written it like this:
-(3^4) + (-11)^2
-81 + 121 = 40
-(3^4) + (-11)^2
-81 + 121 = 40
finding value of: -3^4 + (-11)^2, is the correct way it is written!
