Yes...and if your TV is not digital, you will need to get one with the capability of converting the signal to analog. Hope this is of help. We went through this change several years ago, and lost a considerable amount of reception. It seems digital is good if you have a strong signal, but really is a flop if the signal is weak or has any interference.
