Do things that you did together before you got married, have some fun together, life can be one long drag, it is up to both of you to make it better.

You just have to be best friends... sparks are abundant when you are best friends.

Bring her some some flowers once in a while.

Compliments go a long way to make your spouse feel special. A pat on her ass works for me. 

keep it interesting, have "date nights", do things together  that are fun you both enjoy, and every now and then just do something special, for no reason

You know, this is such an individual thing. I dated my wife for two months and then asked her to marry me. We then married six months later and have been married for thirty three years. They have been the best years of my life. The one thing that I've noticed is that we never run out of things to talk about and this seems to be a problem for couples today. I think that the one thing that keeps our marriage together is that my wife thinks that everything I say is funny. Go figure.
