    Can I exchange unopened alcohol for merchandise?

    I have 8 bottles of assorted alcohol that I won't be using. I bought it for my brother who was going to stay with me for a while. Since I don't drink and I can't legally sell it, can I exchange it for merchandise on Craigslist?
