    my ge dryer is making a chirping noise what could be causing this?

      Possible problems : Pulley is slipping on shaft . Dryer is off the gimble and rubbing on door felt . When you stick your head in dryer the drum should have no up down play . Thats controlled by the felt seal around door housing . Always be sure power is off and unplugged  when doing  visual inspections
